As long as the administration continues stoking the fires of racism, this will happen. Even when the courts find our LEOs innocent, they keep on going like energizer bunnies. They can take blame for the high crime rates in the big cities. What ever happened to, "Can't we just get along?"

There is a lot of money to be made telling people what they want to hear, and yes that does include speech specifically designed to foment unrest.
The root of the problem though, is that advances in technology make it hard for unskilled and low skilled workers to find employment and when there is a job it doesn't need to pay anything because people are happy just to have a job... even if it's $7 an hour. If we don't figure out how to provide some economic opportunity for these people and put them to work, large parts of this country will begin resembling the middle-east.

CPT Jack Durish - A car hitting a protester, followed by shots fired could happen anywhere in the world. Ferguson is bad, however I'd happily live there before living in Mosul, Tikrit or Kabul.

SSG (Join to see) - Can't argue with that. But give Ferguson time. Remember, Mosul, Tikrit, and Kabul didn't descend into anarchy overnight.

CPT Jack Durish - If we continue to ignore places like Ferguson, then there is no telling how bad they will get... they could get far worse than Mosul, Tikrit, and Kabul. On the other hand, if we get some industry and infrastructure going, improve the schools get some real community policing happening, it could soon be a nice place to live.

All I saw was a young man standing in the middle of the street on what looked like the dividing line for the two lanes. The driver never made an attempt to stop, blow the horn or swerve. Possibly stolen car, intentional hit, drunk or stoned driver. A short while later shots are fired, could be connected to the hood ornament treatment or just a byproduct. This is all very predictable today and not surprising. Worse is yet to come.

The shots could have been fired from the same car that ran down the demonstrator in the street or a companion car. Gang members?

CPT Jack Durish - could be, but the car that hit that fellow would have had some damage, maybe gang related. We know it wasn't the police :)
