Somewhere there is the lowest level of stupidity and it seems many are trying to reach it. This is not just a very stupid idea, it a dangerous one that will have very bad repercussions. The thought process behind this boggles the mind.

Haha! I had to look deeper. I thought that this must be a spoof website, but it appears not.
I think I'll buy one. If I strap one of these on, put on my UFC Under Armour, wear an eye patch, put a serious look on my face, and never smile, I'll look like a badass!

This has got to be the worst idea I have encountered in quite some time. A perp knows he cannot outrun a bullet and will be spurred to attack before you can draw your "gun". The police will see you as a threat and could take you out if you made the wrong move.
It is the worst of all choices - it will not protect you in a tense situation and could easily get you killed like it did Tamir Rice.

I remembered when this story came out last year and my opinion hasn't changed. We have seen how people and police have reacted to those carrying toy guns; so why would we want to encourage the idea of more people carrying realistic looking fake guns in public just so an individual can feel safe? How safe will that person feel as he/she hopes the other person with a real gun calls your bluff?
