The Taser is preferable to the .45, which will be the next thing coming if the Taser doesn't work.

Capt Seid Waddell - OK... I agree with you to this point: You see, I don't carry a taser.

I can see it working. Here is why. This ain't the first time he has ever been tased. He knew when it was coming and he was prepared for it. My guess is that for that one little trick he rode the electric pony for at least 10 times before he could take the contractions and get back up. It's a trick, nothing more. If I practice enough, I can drink a 5th of vodka in a sitting, but I ain't got that kind of time.
I have used the taser on multiple people. If you get a good shot they don't get up for that 6 second ride. Sometimes you don't get a good shot and the probes don't go in. Then it is just a tickle and they can still function. We used to like to call it "the taser proof FUBU jacket". The big puffy coats. Forget it you are not tasering anybody in one of those. The probes bleed off before they can get to skin.

No I haven't exactly, Yes I understand the Concept and Yes it has been done by me to me in a more Base Form. 2 kinds of electricity, DC Current and AC Current. You take a big enough jolt of DC and it will knock you away, shoot you across the room. Last time I took a good DC Jolt was in A-School CTOC Larry Moats had me grab the High Level Patch Panel cords at the tip, I knew what was going to happen but I did what he told me, Knocked me across the aisle into the patch panel behind me. Now AC Alternating Current keeps switching direction making your muscles tighten and release very very quickly, If AC Grabs you it doesn't let go, usually you get loose by falling away from the current if you're lucky as your muscles spasm and contract on and off. This is a wicked lot of AC Juice.

If you forget to shut off the breaker before doing maintenance on a Plug In for the House or a Switch you may learn the concept the Hard Way, Your House has AC.
