Clint Eastwood Involved in Bar Fight in Kenner, Louisiana – Daily News 3

KENNER, Louisiana – Local news reports out of Kenner, Louisiana are reporting that Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood was involved in a bar fight in Kenner late last night. One man who allegedly attacked Eastwood was arrested and is being held on assault charges. According to patrons in the bar at the time of the incident, two men who appeared to recognize Eastwood began to verbally attack him for no apparent reason. Eastwood then stood up and said something back to the men when one of the men lunged toward him. Other bar patrons immediately intervened and restrained the man until police arrived. Eastwood was not injured.

One of the bar patrons, Emily Cole had this to say about the incident, “It’s not very often that we get to see a big name celebrity in our city and it’s such a shame that some of the people here decide to give him such a terrible welcome. As much as it bothered me to see him treated that way it also made me proud to see how quickly other people came to his aid and end a situation that could’ve been a lot worse. The guy who attacked him got roughed up after what he did and it was well deserved. Clint seemed to laugh it off afterwards and actually had a lot of nice things to say about the people here. I hope he comes back sometime.”
