A CALL TO ACTION.
"This is a great opportunity to share Women in the Military's story through our uniforms.
Sisters in Arms posted an update for the Chris Jordan project:
Please assist in an amazing project that will help increase awareness of women and our military service!
Lean In is partnering in the launch of a program dedicated to supporting our community. And they're partnering with Seattle-based artist Chris Jordan to share our stories! Chris is best known for using art to bring awareness to social and environmental campaigns. Chris has a TED Talk about his use of visuals to better display statistics.
Now, Chris and Lean In are eager to create a unique work to tell our story. To support this initiative, Chris is looking for military uniforms of all shapes, sizes, colors and services.
Serviceable uniforms are not required. We have 2 options for the uniforms after use, so please include your preference for one of these 2 options:
OPTION 1 - Your uniforms will be returned to you, the service member. If chosen, please include a return envelope with a pre-paid return mailing label.
OPTION 2- Your uniforms will be sanitized and delivered to a uniform surplus store.
Mail uniforms direct to Chris:
