I have know many transgendered people. Life has many different challenges for them to overcome. I am a Christian, and I think about how would Jesus have treated someone that is transgendered? He would treat them with Dignity and Respect, even if the community was shunning them. As Service Members we are charged with not discriminating against our fellow brothers and sister in arms. I want Ready and Deployable Soldiers in my formation. There will always be obstacles and trauma in our lives, we as a community must overcome them together.

Very well-said. I wish more people, especially leaders, were as thoughful.

It really isn't a difficult question to answer. Actually, it reminds me of the fact that to grow avocados you need a male and female tree. When I asked at the nursery, "How do I tell the difference?" the "expert" there responded, "Just spread the limbs and take a look"

Who am I to judge them?
As a Christian, I choose to concentrate on working on my own flaws, which are many.
