I live in Maine and Gov. LePage is a regular in the news, not for governing, but for what he says or does like the speaking engagement in Farmington. The video link is actually quite old news. Perhaps I am old school, but I believe the leader of my State needs to show decorum at all times, and that was not in evidence. Telling students 'You're idiots' and walking off is frankly, something I would have expected from my children when they were 6 or 7, not my Governor. Protesters are something every politician needs to expect and accept, that is one of our rights, he should have fulfilled his obligation to the University by completing his speech.

I like Maine. It seems to cultivate common sense. This governor reminds me of an earlier one, a hero of the Civil War, Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, Medal of Honor recipient, who later served as governor of Maine and once confronted a mob on the state house steps, daring them to mess with him.
