As long as Congress is entrusted to make trillion-dollar decisions affecting people's lives, there will be Americans willing to spend millions to influence the decision-making process.

I don't support there deaths but neither do I support aborting baby's when they are viable. Bernie Sanders stood up and said he is for Abortions Any Time for Any Reason. that I am against. I will agree with you that most states have laws making partial birth abortions illegal but not all and there are people on the left that are pushing that the states that make it illegal to repeal those laws to allow the abortion any time for any reason and yes I am against that.
But I'm happy to see that you don't appear to be a person in favor of late term or partial birth abortions.
like I said I'm NOT for making all abortions illegal and offered zero changes to abortion laws for the first trimester. I don't agree with them and hope and pray my two daughters agree with me that unless there are health reasons involved we believe there are other options.
my third kid had a chance of being a down baby and the hospital offered us the option to have an abortion. we didn't take it. decided he had a right to live in either case.
well he is 21. a semester away from his college degree. scored a 32 on the ACT the first time he took it. He had offers for a full ride to MIT. Think of what we and his friends would have missed had we taken the hospitals offer. He is 21, think of what he may invent that makes everyone's life better. Im a Hockey fan and the Great One once said, you miss 100% of the shots not taken. Think of what the world has the potential of losing every time a woman gets drunk or high or just screws up and gets pregnant and then decides to cover her mistake with another and aborts that baby. Maybe that's the baby that cures cancer.
Im not unreasonable even if I don't agree with abortions when its not a health issue for either mom or baby. I don't push to change the laws. but I will stand up here and now and say I am 100% against late term abortions or partial birth abortions and if the person running for President doesn't agree with me on that they will never ever get my vote or respect.
and even with legal abortions women went to that butcher of a doctor in dirty disgraceful conditions to have abortions so they could get away with bad things so you cant claim that legal abortions stops that.

PO2 Mark Saffell - PO; Thank you for clarifying your position. While I can't *quite* go so far as "murder" for "elective abortions during the third trimester" I can certainly come close.
By the way "Late" abortions constitute approximately 1% of all abortions and that includes ALL abortions after the 21st week (the "Third Trimester" doesn't start until the 24th week) for ALL reasons. Considering the statutory restrictions on post First-Trimester abortions (and expecially those concerning Third Trimester abortions) I wouldn't be at all surprised if the percentage of abortions which were "elective abortions during the third trimester" came in at less that 0.00001%.
In short, the flap about the huge number of "elective abortions during the third trimester" was in all probability a totally manufactured furor.

Capt Gregory Prickett Nobody forces a woman to a back alley or to use a coat hanger to kill her baby. That is a choice she makes on her own. No mother has the right to kill her baby, nor does anybody else. (Yes, there should be very limited exceptions).
It is too bad that the mothers of those supporting abortions did not share their feelings.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Just making a point that, as Ronald Reagan pointed out, those who support abortion have already been born. I doubt that, if you could go back in time, when your mother was pregnant with you, that you would support her decision to abort you. And, for the record, I did not "wish" it, I simply made a point about the hypocrisy of abortion supporters.

COL Ted Mc Great 'public service' show by 60 Minutes! So the congressional aides are the ones who study issues and advise the congressmen how to vote! Perhaps the aides are the ones the public should have more background information on?
