Regardless of how you feel and your political orientation, this to me is clearly a violation of his first amendment rights. In this day and age, if the City has nothing more to do than hassle him on this matter, they clearly have misplaced priorities. I think a civil rights attorney would have a field day with this, and he could get damages from the City.

Hard to Believe but I could believe a Heavy Fine from the Home Owners Association. Here in Leawood, KS we have a City Gov't but the Homer Owners Association really runs the City.

That's what I was thinking too. The HOA would be filing for civil charges, or heavy fines instead of this becoming criminal charges.
