COL Mikel J. Burroughs not so much surprised as disheartened by the fact that looking at major military areas, there are few if any of the companies that made the grade. As a Navy person, anytime someone mentions these kinds of lists, the first places I look are San Diego, Norfolk, and Florida. I also look at Colorado Springs as that is not only home to NORAD, and the USAF academy, but also Ft. Carson and Peterson Air Force Base. Sadly none of those areas have a dot on the map of companies that made the grade.
