Earlier this year the Military times provided the best career and technical schools for Veterans for 2016. They are currently working on a similar article for the rest of the colleges. I personally looked into some of these colleges and was impressed by the programs they offered at little to no cost for transitioning service members and veterans. They also provide a methodology article, where they talk about the criteria that influenced these ratings. It's a great read, and if you live in any of these areas, I'd highly suggest checking out the programs offered.

USCAiken has an excellent Veteran and Military Student Sucess center and program. (Aiken, SC is a great small town close to Ft Gordon, Georgia) Large VA is 30 miles from the campus, yet we are a rural setting. Horses, golf and 3 hours from Charleston, Atlanta, Asheville, Charlotte, and an hour from Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA.
