I enjoy posting birthdays that have tidbit's within the story. Logan Ramsey was born on March 21, 1921. During World War II, Logan Ramsey Jr., served as an Ensign aboard the USS Block Island, CVE 106. Ramsey is the son of (then) Lt. Cmdr. Logan Ramsey, who sounded the alarm at the start of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Ramsey Sr. was stationed on Ford Island in the middle of the harbor when the Japanese attacked at 7:55 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941.
