Good send more A-10s! too! Here is a pilot from the ID ANG inJune, 2004 checking out his plane. We had an officer's call a week earlier and I met him and his buddies and they invited any of us to come to their squadron for a tour. I went. I later went to Iraq and I was stationed in Kirkuk Regional Air Base. I was a 1LT then.

So now that we have 1 KIA, let's send more troops over there for more potential KIAs. This speaks to my theory that President Obama will commit a division or two during the election.

but had we had a SOFA with this Iran dominated and messed up Iraq Gov. and had we left 30K QRF and air support with my fav plane and some PJs from the USAF we would not have left Iraq. The Sunnis who were with their militias in MOSUL would not have gone to ISIL since we still would have been paying them to police themselves and ISIL would not have formed in the vacuum of US Forces gone after the campaign promise of the POTUS to pull out. As soon as we left, the Iraq gov stopped paying the sunni tribes and they got mad and went to ISIL. No SOFA agreement and we left only to be back now and we are back to square one except ISIL has all our gear we left for the IRAQI Army from MOSUL.

Our armed forces should always have adequate security when performing their military mission. Our leadership is well versed in how to accomplish their mission, and the Iraqi Security Forces are part of the mix.
