Capt Walter Miller Thank you for posting this piece and starting this discussion. We are an electorate that can fact check on our own and we know we are faced now with a group of politicians that we know continue to distort the truth and tell lies. It's appalling to think that the choice is between picking the one who lies the least or lies the best.

Ma'am isn't this how it's always been? Make a ton of promises. Get folks to feel your desire to make their lives better. Talk said folks into voting you in, not knowing that some major donor slipped in 100k a few times to "pad" this candidate along. You're always going to have to choose between Liar A and Liar B. The only honest politician is either doing time, or is pushing up daisies.

It's a big mess and no mistake. HRC has stolen the DNC. She is so horrible. One thing is the huge number of people who think she is compassionate and competent. It blows my mind.

Elections, no matter what political party, are all about creating the most victims and then getting them to vote for you.

If you're going to nit pick at the fallacies that she has spoken on, and then apply it to others, then you'd never vote for anyone. ALL of the candidates have something that they "bent" the truth on in some way, form, or fashion. Trump didn't know who David Duke was, yet was in the same political party as he was? I guess the author has never really listened to the BS that all candidates spew out of their oxygen burners I guess. Cruz didn't know after 44 years he had dual citizenship, but notices it just in time to run for President? Rubio condemns Obama for his experience, but when you compare the two, they're almost exactly the same? It's a game of who can tell the best lie, at the right time, and not be caught.

"I will, of course, vote for Clinton if she’s the nominee – she is after all vastly preferable to either Trump or Cruz – but by now this is starting to feel like pointing out that a sprained ankle is preferable to a heart attack."
