Have you ever had a day where you really, seriously, without being fazed one bit, just didn't give one single solidarity, lonely and dangling f**k? Have you ever walked into a room full of f**ks, that upon seeing you they realized you didn't give a f**K? Have you ever sat with a beer in your hand at 0600, looked out onto that barren PT field knowing that formation will be held in 15 minutes prior to the 15 minute rule, which you're already late for, and you take another swig and say I don't give a f**k? You've finally outprocessed the unit and are going to get your 214 from the BSB, you see an officer and don't salute cuz you just don't give a f**K? Well in that case you should...your 214 will wait until you've completed your extra duty that 1SG doesn't give a f**k about giving to you.

One of my first civilian jobs after getting out. I was the shift manager of a large department store. My brother was in town for one day before being shipped to Desert Storm, it was Dec 31st and Notre Dame was playing in a bowl game. I had told them over a week earlier my brother was going to be home and I just wanted to watch the game with him. The manager said come find me later in the day and I will see what I can do. Time came and I was looking for him when I was told he went home to watch the game. I dropped my keys on the desk and said I quit. That was my I don't give a $%&@ moment.

When I joined the Army my English was very poor however the first expression I learned from another new recruit was "I don't give a fuck". To me this expression have this really good ring to it.

Man my english is still poor, but I know fuck....been called it enough times, or used it following aww f**k, and that is followed by "dumb f**K".
