I am soooo sick of the flip-flopping politicians. The speeches I have seen from the Dems when they controlled the Senate pail in comparison to what has been said today. They wanted to STOP all appointments for the last TWO years of Bush. Heck Ole Harry Reed even changed the voting rules so it only took 51 Dems to pass something. Think the Liberals would freak of the GOP did that now??

PO2 Mark Saffell - PO; The "trick" to a really well crafted constitution/law/regulation/policy is that it ALWAYS makes what you want to do mandatory and ALWAYS makes what you don't want to do prohibited and ALWAYS ensures that there is no impediment to changing your mind from wanting to do something to not wanting to do it (and vice versa) - no matter how many times you want to change your mind.

At least you didn't mention Harry Reed and "good senator" in the same sentence let alone post.

Both parties use political maneuvers to get their way.
Just to add to this: Then senator Obama also participated in the filibuster of Sam Alito in 2006. So it's the entire administration....but it's business as usual for both parties.

Lt Col (Join to see) - Major; My point exactly (and once you take a look at how each of the parties conducts business it's pretty difficult to tell them apart.
