Man, this is tough to read about -- lots of good NCOs will be effectively pushed out of the Army. I get it, I know why it has to happen, but it stinks to know that some of the good NCOs will be let go.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
CPT Aaron Kletzing it is sad to see, I guess the Army wants all perfect records! I like the saying of President Bush, quote" There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

There's always this image portrayed by these articles that these are somehow good NCOs. These are NCOs who have been relieved, DUIs, GOMARs, failed or been kicked out of NCOES, and a few other items. These aren't like the Officer Selection Boards where there is a set number of personnel to cut. These are mostly NCOs who displayed a lack of judgment, character, or competence.

Wow SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. How does this compare with previous RIFs?
"Staff sergeants and senior noncommissioned officers who are selected for involuntary separation or early retirement by Qualitative Management Program boards that meet later this year will be required to leave service no later than seven months after the QMP list is approved by Pentagon officials."
I hope that no SSG and above will be surprised by the Qualitative Management Program board results and that each service member is able to work out a transition plan with follow-on employment as soon as possible.

THIS is Political. This is 'GETTING EVEN' by the Democrats and the Obama administration.

This literally had nothing to do with Congress, let alone either political party. Service members get QMP'ed for their own mistakes and actions.
