FYI: officers do not go to basic training. Initial entry type experiences vary by service for officers. All Army Officers go to an Officer Basic Course, but that is not their initial training. ROTC cadets got to LDAC. Service Academies have a series of events that I am not familiar with. OCS commissions are different yet again.
