Over the last few years, reports of corruption and incompetence at the VA has brought the issue of veterans’ health care to the forefront of American politics. While Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton believes the problem "is not as widespread as it has been made out to be," horror stories involving practices at the VA have given nearly everyone else much cause for concern.

If there's anything I learned in my time in the military it's this... government funded anything always goes to the lowest bidder. Is that who we really want to trust with our health?

COL Sir i received a e-mail today that proved to be interesting. It was a web site called Open the Books. It was telling about a Forbes column titled Its Not Disney World- The Va Scandal Two years Later. It allowed me to check on wages at the VA in Dublin GA. There are a lot of highly paid people at the VA. And for the job they arn't doing, VA wide, I do believe they are overpaid.
