Served 30 years on active duty as an Infantry officer. Commanded at the Battalion level. Served on Battalion, Division, and Army staffs. Taught on the faculty at the USMA and the USAWC on active duty. Completed CAS3, CGSC, SAMS, and USAWC. Served as Military Advisor to the Afghan Minister of Defense in OEF. As a civilian have served in PKSOI and currently serve at the USAWC.
