I retired as a U.S. Army Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel with over 28 years military experience including light infantry, air assault infantry, Special Forces, and joint and multinational operations. I worked as a defense contractor for seventeen (17) years until retiring to enjoy my “Golden Years.”

Graduate level instructor, teaching operational through strategic levels of operation, served as small group student advisor, developed curriculum, designed and coordinated Joint Special Operations participation in college exercises, and advised on special operations integration into simulation exercises; transformed a single course of instruction into a multi course, 300 hour Special Operations POI approved as specialized Area of Concentration. Selected four times to conduct classes at Army Staff Colleges in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.

Responsible for maintaining the readiness and deployment of Joint Task Force (JTF)-510, the Pacific Command's rapid deployment force.

Published a monthly command newspaper to enhance the morale of the assigned soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen, while keeping them informed of the command's activities. Wrote the command's first ever "media relations" plan in cases of emergency or wartime.
