In October 2009 I deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with Marine aviation logistics squadron 29. Nov 2008 - Oct 2009

After completion of my deployment to Iraq, and Afghanistan I was redeployed to Camp Pendleton California, and reassigned to MALS-39 munitions. On February 1, 2009 I was promoted to the rank of Corporal, and assign the billet of workcenter supervisor within the munitions, and assumed responsibility for 6 – 8 employees, 3 military vehicles, and an armament assembly compound. My individual responsibilities included providing technical training for 4 – 5 entry-level employees over the course of their transition from military training facilities into the Fleet Marine force. This was achieved through hands-on training, and classroom training.
Sep 2008 - Nov 2008
Aviation Ordnanceman (AO)
I was selected as the most junior member of a select group within my occupation to transfer from Al Asad, Iraq to Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. Related to my work ethic, and history of over achievement within my career field. In the new environment I would continue my previously stated duties.
