Upon graduation from Officer Candidate School, Officer Doliny was commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Following training at The Basic School (TBS), Basic Communications Officer Course (BCOC), and the Cryptologic Division Officer’s Course (CDOC), began first assignment as the Signals Intelligence Officer (SIO) for 3rd Marine Division in Okinawa Japan. As the Division G2 Intelligence Operations Officer. In 1997, was assigned to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, as the Tactical Training & Exercise Control Group Intelligence Officer, in support of the Marin

Headed the Radio Battalion Modernization and Concept Project Officer at Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico VA. His duties included fielding state of the art Signals Intelligence equipment to Marine Corps Units. Was assigned to 2nd Radio Battalion were deployed with a detachment assigned to 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, and deployed as detachment OIC to Norway. Additionally he served as Company Commander, Headquarters and Service Company and the Battalion S-4 Logistics Officer.
