Bio
I have been in the maintenance field in some capacity sine I graduated High School in 1979. I enjoyed my short stint in the Army and would have loved to continue my training and advancements there, but Uncle Sam decided I wasn't fit for military duty due to an injury I had 5 years prior to entering the service, of which I never had any problems with. Warrant officer was my goal as was retirement

Studied the course of training for 63B (light wheeled vehicle and power generation mechanic). Enjoyed this very much and was exposed to the other extremes in Ft. Leonardwood, COLD.
Jul 1983 - Oct 1983
Platoon Leader
Basic training in the summer of 1983 in Ft. Leonardwood was the roughest thing I can remember ever doing! I survived, but at the time I had to question myself why I left the fire service as a Lieutenant to do this. I would do it again in a heartbeat as I have never felt better or accomplished as I did the day I graduated.
