Communications Engineer Technician
Acting Director for six months in O5 billet. Hosted Defense Information Systems Agency Washington DC and staff during Western Pacific C4I Conference. Planned and implemented C4I DOD requirements throughout Southwest Region of the Pacific. Participated in Qtrly Conferences at DISA Pacfic Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. Performed DISA IGs at DOD communications facilities in Singapore, Guam, Australia and Diego Garcia. Twilight tour for retirement after 20 1/2 years of service.

Facility Control Division Officer
Responsible to Commanding Officer of Naval Computer Telecommunications Station Cubi Pt for all DOD communications segments to include links, trunks, telephone switches and circuits that traversed DDN, DSN, AT&T Sat and commercial leased circuits through commercial facilities. Endured the Bagio earthquake, eruption of Mt Pinatubo volcano, and eventual closure of U.S. military presence in the Philippines. Planned and liaisoned with Defense Information Systems Agency Southwest Region Pacific. Won CMDRs Trophy for BEST FCO, Tech Control, M/W Relay, and Phone Switch throughout the Pacific Ocean.

Responsible for Capas Tarlac Transmitter Facility, NTCC Subic Bay, NTCC Cubi Pt, ASCOMM Cubi Pt, Rizal Tech Control, Mt Santa Rita Microwave Relay site, PTF Subic Bay, PTF Cubi Pt, Message Center, Receiver site and Tech Control in San Miguel.

Commander Third Fleet
Leading Chief Technical Control Facility AGF-11. Responsible for technical control, antenna maintenance, R&D for HF/ELF/SHF communicaton networks. Provided training for third fleet ships from Coronado to 32nd street. Developed a 128kbps landline system for the ship at the pier through Telecommunications Service Order. Awarded Green C both years.

Japan
Onboard USS Dubuque LPD-8, made RMC(SW) Aug 1986. Technical Control Chief. Managed antenna maintenance, preventive maintenance system, Comsec Custodian, TS/Specat Coordinator, Frequency Coordinator, and OOD inport. Took care of minesweepers in the Persian Gulf Jun 88 - Nov 88 during Iraq/Iran War. Awarded Green C all three years.

Western Pacific
Onboard USS William H. Standley CG-32, RM2 Radioman Supervisor, was onboard for American Hostage crisis in Tehran. Also during PIRAZ/AAWC in North Arabian Sea had a flare back in one of our boilers and limped into Diego Garcia to pull alongside USS Dixie for temp repairs, then to SRF Subic Bay for more repairs, I PCS'd to NTCC Subic Bay. Green C

Was Traffic Analysis Petty Officer, TS/Specat Coordinator, General Message Clerk, and Class E Clerk onboard the USS Constellation CV-64 worked in the Message Center. Did a Split Sea Tour to CG-32 down at 32nd Street SDiego. Awarded Green C
