Bio
I enlisted 12 December 1976 and left for Basic Training 3 days later, Ft Knox. After 3 assignments and 6 years I ETSed Nov 1982. Finding civilian life boring I reentered the Army as a SPC4 and a 2 new MOS. To attend the 12E course you had to complete the 12B course first. Only to have the Army drop the 12E MOS in 1985, so back to the MPs I went. Never regretted a moment, just a few assignments.

Team Leader
Combat MP duties with a little bit of garrison duty. The CO had a policy that if you held a secondary MOS, you were to train the rest of the company, so I spent a lot of time teaching basic demolition, route/bridge classification and mine field emplacements.

12E (ADM Specialist)
Preformed duties as a 12B Combat Engineer with special attention to the demolition aspect for the platoon.

COR/SOG
Physical Security.....meaning a Tower Rat! Last 3 months, there was a shortage of NCO, so as the senior E4, I was placed in the position as the SOG
