Operations NCO's are the heart and blood of the operations world. generally a grunt or equivalent, they do the legwork for everything the keeps a unit running. from drafting briefs to making excel sheets for each and every exercise that goes on in a unit, to collecting data about deployments and briefing the commanders on current events. They work tirelessly and at the same time keeping their marines in check and making sure they stay fit for duty.

you meet some pretty high up people who can definitely help with your career down the road and you learn the true workings of a unit that very few NCO's ever see.

learn how to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to their fullest. Practice speaking effectively and know how to pick information pertanent out of a SitRep.
