From the moment you get in touch with Whittier College, you’ll be assigned to a dedicated Veteran Resource Coordinator who, together with a Transfer Admission Counselor, will map out a personalized admission plan for you.

And, if you've completed at least 30 units at a California Community College with at least a 2.9 cumulative GPA, you'll receive guaranteed admission and reduced tuition.

Applying to Whittier is free and admitted veterans are offered generous financial aid packages that may combine reduced tuition and up to $10,000 in Yellow Ribbon funding in addition to their GI Bill benefits. Once enrolled at Whittier, veterans have a special opportunity to receive a stipend of $1,750 to $3,500 to conduct a research project.
