Veteran hiring
VWR values the skills, leadership experience, and dedication our military veterans bring to work and our community.
We are proud to employ several military veterans at every level in our organization and we support military veterans at VWR through company training, recognition, and wellness programs as we do all of our associates.
Our VWR Veterans committee takes great pride in offering two annual events to honor and remember the service of military men and women. Our Memorial Day event honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice with an American flag placed in honor of a particular individual as well as the opportunity for our associates to send messages to those deployed and serving currently. Our Veteran’s Day events celebrate the service of all military veterans in a variety of ways in different VWR locations across the US, from adopting a unit to hosting breakfast or lunch for our local veterans and their family members. We proudly wear red, white and blue on these important days. VWR is also an active participant with the Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network and sponsored the Philadelphia Union’s Military and Veteran Family Appreciation Night in 2016.
