Dr. Dan Alcide, Ph.D. was honorably discharged as a Certified Service-Disabled Veteran after serving over 27 years in the military and the Department of Defense. He immediately started The Business Transformation Company, Inc. in Columbus, Georgia in September of 2011. Dr. Dan Alcide is skilled in Contracting, Organizational Management, Leadership and Information Technology Management, and Certified at Level III under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) with extensive experience consulting with clients on contract support services and business management techniques to improve the business bottom line.

 

He has served as a Management and Program Analyst for the Defense Intelligence Agency, Army Materiel Command, and served as a Contracting Specialist, Logistics Management Specialist and led the office as the Director of Logistics Business Requirements at the Business Transformation Agency for the office of the Under Secretary of Defense. He has taught courses as a professor at Central Michigan University, Averett University, Apollos University, and served as an Education Consultant and Evaluator for the American Council on Education. Dr. Alcide provided corporate and government consulting services on various matters that involve contracting, leadership, business management, Logistics Management, Organizational and Administrative Management, Facility Management, and IT management. Many of Dr. Dan’s team members have been with him for years throughout the industry, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and new partnerships agreements throughout the US.
