Details about the study
We are asking about 1,800 other veterans to participate.
If you decide to participate, we’ll ask you to complete a one-time survey of:
· The way you think about your own and others’ alcohol use
· Your own use of alcohol and other substances
· Your behavioral health symptoms
· Your sexual experiences and possible victimization
· Your use of and views about behavioral health treatment
You can participate even if you do not drink alcohol or have never used physical or behavioral health services.
This survey is confidential. This means we will not connect your name or email to any of your responses to the survey items. No one outside our research team at RAND will have access to these responses. Our research team is not affiliated with the VA or the military. We will not share your information with anyone, including your employer, family members, or law enforcement officials.
If you meet the eligibility requirements specified above and you take the survey, we will send you a $20 gift card to use at www.amazon.com. You must have a working email address to receive this gift card.
If you do not meet eligibility requirements but know someone who does, you can forward them a link to the survey if you choose to.
