Get a criminal justice degree in two years or less, 100% online.
WHY STUDY CRIMINAL JUSTICE?
- A two-year criminal justice associate degree will quickly give you the credentials for careers in law enforcement, security, corrections, investigation, government and many others.
- Change careers, give yourself the best chance for career advancement or earn a valuable online associate degree while waiting to enter the police academy.
- Complete your online criminal justice degree in 1 year (full-time with eligible transfer credits) or in less than 2 years for first-time college students (full-time).
- Your associate degree cost-per-course is less than for-profit colleges, and your GI Bill will lower your cost even more.
- Learn from faculty who have real-world experience in criminal justice professions. Beware of diploma mills, and get your education from a leader.

How SMC supports veterans
1. We have a dedicated financial aid team who will help you understand your GI benefits and how to apply them to your online degree from SMC.
2. In many cases, you can get SMC credit for your military training. And if you have taken previous college classes, many of those classes will count toward your SMC degree.
3. We are committed to providing a high-quality criminal justice education. We have been a leader in criminal justice education in South Carolina since 1970. You can feel confident that your transition into civilian life will be accompanied by strong preparation for your new career.
4. SMC is an accredited non-profit college. You will never need to worry that your degree won't be accepted by law enforcement employers or that your tuition is making CEOs and stockholders wealthy.
