Portland Maine Police Department

The Portland Police Department employs 160 sworn officers and 60 civilian employees. The community it serves is approximately 64,000 residents. The Department is comprised of three major divisions: the Office of the Chief, the Bureau of Operations and the Bureau of Investigations.
