About

Mack Hils Metal Fabrication has its roots back in 1973 when Mack Hils began building small fasteners for antique pickup beds in the basement of his home. Utilizing mostly hand tools and long hours the business steadily expanded.

By 1977 Mack Hils Metal Fabrication had grown to the point of requiring more space, full time attention, and additional employees. This allowed the company to move from Mack Hils' basement to the big time, a two-car garage with attached storage shed. An interim move followed in 1982 to a 12,000 square foot manufacturing facility. In 1988 the business expanded to 17 employees and a modern 30,000 square foot facility. The company was now providing products to the antique pickup market as well as several OEM companies.

Eventually the company was split into two business units. Mack Hils Metal Fabrication and Mack Products.

Today, Mack Hils Metal Fabrication operates out of a modern 70,000 square foot facilities located in central Missouri. It is recognized as a leader in supplying quality parts to the original equipment manufactures across several different industries.

Mack Hils Metal Fabrication holds certificate number FM 61656 which certifies that we operate a quality management system that complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008. This certificate was originally awarded to us in January 2002. Obviously Mack Hils Metal Fabrication is pleased with this certification primarily because it will help us to better serve you...our customer and most precious commodity.
