I often kid about it, as in "I have to finally decide what I want to be now that I'm grown" - but I see why a lot of vets stress out when leaving the service. It's difficult to a degree to determine what career path is next and how your skills you've acquired throughout your career will translate. I have a few more years to work through all of that, as I don't plan on retiring until March of 2027 at the earliest, March 2028 preferably. Good luck to your son Andrew!
