About IdmyBag
Ribbon Recyclers, Inc. began business and incorporated in the state of Colorado in 1994. The principle business is recycling print cartridges. Of course a major goal of the company is attaining a profitable on-going business. Bi-products of the processes provide many social complementary benefits that round out the corner stones of the company. They include benefiting customers, the earth, and humanity. Many of the customers look forward to a report listing the accomplishments they have achieved from using the services. Some even publish these results in their annual reports. The company measures the monetary and social benefits aggregately, and for each customer and transaction. These are the recent significant accomplishments: Last year Ribbon Recyclers, Inc. saved their customers more than $1.5 million compared to MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price). This, in turn, reduced toxic waste by more than 90,000 pounds and saved more than 68,000 cartridges from the land fills. In addition, the processes used have created jobs for those with special needs and the less fortunate.
The company started selling personalized luggage straps in 2005 and began doing this business as IDmyBag.com®. IDmyBag.com® is a registered trade name officially on file with the Colorado Secretary of State. A patent is pending on the personalized luggage straps with the US Patent Office. In April, 2009, the trademark name IDmyBag.com® was approved as a registered trade name with the US Trademark Office. The majority of personalized luggage strap sales have been accomplished on line through their IDmyBag.com® web site. The Wall Street Journal among other periodicals featured IDmyBag.com® in 2008. The WSJ article “QUICK FIX – Get your luggage faster” by WSJ’s Suzanne Barlyn, can be viewed at this URL link:
In January, 2009 IDmyBag.com® was selected by the Air Force and Army Exchange Service to provide IDmyBag.com® Personalized Luggage Straps to the US Military – active and retired on AAFES.com (http://aafes.com/).
Ribbon Recyclers, Inc continues to be creative in the recycling/social efforts. At this time a project is underway, analyzing the economies of recycling the used plastic from spent print cartridges, transforming the plastic into buckles used on the luggage straps.
Articles of Incorporation, Statement of Good Standing and other items may be viewed on the State of Colorado Secretary of State web site, URL: Colorado Secretary of State
