About
FitOps Foundation was founded in 2016 by Performix CEO & Founder Matt Hesse, along with nonprofit expert Matt Gerber, with a common goal to engage and empower veterans in both fitness and in life. It does this by believing no veteran starts from zero when they enter civilian life. Camp FitOps is a three-week, on-site training program that builds on the fitness and leadership experience these men and women already gained in the military.

How the organization supports veterans
Our commitment to our veterans is not to merely open doors to personal and professional success as expert personal trainers, but to welcome them into a lifelong community of support and camaraderie. We decided the best way to execute this vision is to provide these men and women with the tools and resources needed to be successful in their next chapter in life. Other than just a helpful step up into the fitness industry, we are also dedicated to providing ongoing support and maintenance of professional development. Since its inception, FitOps has helped more than 125 veterans become not just certified, but qualified trainers.
