About
The Academy of United States Veterans has been established to educate and advocate through recognition and organization on behalf of the veterans community to ensure a promising future for a new generation of veterans and organizations that work tirelessly on their mission of service. The Academy effectively utilizes advocacy and outreach to ensure that decision-makers and supporters have a sense of clarity on the truth that lies behind the issues. Through the founding of the academy, Assal Ravandi, has created a new narrative for veterans and all Americans through creativity, collaboration, as well as cooperation. The Veterans community unity is a tribute to the strength and preference of a people for inclusion and partnership over division and alienation, and members of the academy believe that their obligation to the community of service members is principally vital.

How AUSV Supports Veterans
Praised by the community of our nation’s finest for its symbolic gesture of unity, empowerment, and collaboration, the Veterans Awards also known as the Vettys® is presented by the Academy of United States Veterans and its partner organizations. The ceremony solely honors public servants, leaders, and innovators within the veterans space. The Vettys® focuses on organizational, individual and community excellence. For years, the veterans community and its leaders have made great strides in entrepreneurship, academia, leadership, community service, and beyond. The Vettys® provides a recognition platform for individuals and entities to be acknowledged for their tireless demonstration of distinction. In addition to organizing The Vettys®, the Academy of United States Veterans also hosts special screenings for movies as well as celebrity meet & greets.
