About
The Patriot Master Gunner (PMG) course provides commanders with NCOs capable of developing, implementing, and evaluating Patriot gunnery training strategies that will take units through Gunnery Tables I thru XII, experts on all aspects of the Patriot weapons system technical and tactical employment capabilities and limitations, able to perform and analyze Air and Missile Defense Design. A PMG will become the one-stop NCO at all levels for a unit's training, planning, and deployment of the Patriot Weapons System.

What you learn
The Patriot Master Gunner Course (PMG) is designed to develop expert skills and provide a comprehensive understanding of the operations, planning, and training associated with the Patriot Weapons System. The course will challenge the student's competencies using a number of situations, hands-on training, practical exercise, and examination to test and evaluate their current skills, knowledge, and attributes. The student will be required to show a high level of competencies in the ECS/ICC tactical and technical operations. Students will learn all available communications architectures from the Fire Unit, Battalion, Brigade to the joint world. Students will learn the Army training model from top to bottom in order to evaluate, develop, and implement a Patriot Gunnery Program to take their crews and unit from TABLE I-XII. Students will culminate their training by learning the latest threat capability, Patriot capabilities and limitations, and apply their knowledge to the art of ABT/TBM defense design piece. When PMG students graduate from this course, they will be the tactical and technical experts who can plan a training program or real world deployment -- a true expert on the Patriot Weapons System.
