About
The mission of ARC is to develop confident and agile reconnaissance leaders who can operate in unpredictable combat and training environments within their commander's intent.

How to prepare
Prerequisites
- Rank/Grade:
- Active Army/Marine/Air Force/Navy Officers and NCOs
- Allied Officer and NCOs (O-1 thru O-3; E-6 thru E-8)
- Required Schools: (Army/Marine/Air Force/Navy/Allied equivalent)
- Completed the Basic Officer Leadership Course Branch(BOLC-B)
- Completed Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course(BNCOC) or Advanced Leadership Course(ALC)
- Minimum Requirements: (verified by the SQDN/BN CDR or CSM)
- Current (within 6 months) ABN physical to attend.
- Has a GT score of 100 or better (non-waiverable).
- Height and weight IAW AR 600-9
- Current passed APFT within 30 days at 17-21 year old age group
- Completes 5 mile run in 40 mins within last 30 days
- Completes 12 Mile foot march last 30 days
- No temporary profiles; no duty limiting permanent profiles.
Is in or projected to a reconnaissance para/lin # or appropriate position for other MOS's.
