Is there a policy on sleep before airborne operations?

I have IMC scheduled one afternoon, the jump the next afternoon, and in between is a detail that starts at 2130, and I'd imagine it goes all night. I've been told I do have to go to PT at 0600 the morning of IMC.
This seems unsafe, to me, and I've been told when jumping in TRADOC that there was such a policy, but I'm not sure if it's Army-wide.

That's what's expected from a paratrooper, to run faster and further, to carry more weight, and to fight harder. Black hat and the school house know what they are doing. Wait until you get to the 82d and you will see what jump week is about.

MAJ (Join to see) - Well, just by moving your cursor over the individuals name it shows their Branch, and their Unit if it is filled in. In your case it shows that you are a Special Forces Officer. So how does that go to show that the commenter was tired? Rushed maybe, but then if they are being rushed, it may not be such good advice.
I was rushed in making my initial comment, but I did not debase or ridicule the question. Which is what SFC (P) Arguello did with his final sentence.
You (MAJ Anonymous) should also note that nothing that SFC (P) Arguello stated helped to answer the Soldiers question and it was made after other better advice had been given. Is this what you expect of an individual about to be promoted to the ranks of Master Sergeant/First Sergeant? If it is, no wonder we hear about so many incidents of "toxic leadership."
One other item about this - I would suggest that you go through this thread and read my other comments. And your 'off target' comment is actually uncalled for.

Speaking of rushed and tired "anonymous," too busy too put a name to the rank?? SSG Robert Webster Since you want to launch professional attacks, let me ask you, were you too toxic to make it to the senior NCO ranks, or not competitive enough? You are correct, I do not look at profiles, maybe in the future I will. If a soldier has been in the 82d longer than day, they know how things tend to be. You come in at 0500 and leave well, whenever. Don't judge based on a simple answer, I have sacrificed as much as any other service member just like you did.

MSG (Join to see) - I am not too busy to put a name to the rank, the Major shows as Anonymous in my feed and in his profile when I viewed it; that is his problem and not mine.
As for why I did not make E-7, well, I will state that I pissed enough of them off by doing things similar to what the good Specialist is doing. As far as being a toxic leader, I am sure that you could go to my FB page and check with a number of individuals that were my soldiers and students as to whether or not I was a 'toxic leader.' As far as being competitive really goes, I had all of the check boxes checked etc., and I did get selected to attend ANCOC, and I got selected to be an ROTC Instructor and excelled at both. I am sure that if you tried hard enough that you could access my ANCOC class report.
But I do know one thing, on the competitive side of the house, my not attending the Jump Master course at the AAS may have had some influence on it.

Take a look at my contacts and see if you do not recognize some of my friends, acquaintances, and contacts. Find one that you recognize and ask them.

You get lots of sleep in the harness sitting around and waiting for the birds to arrive.

According to the information that I have been able to gather, what you are looking for is the US Army Airborne Standard Operating Procedures (ASOP). It was supposed to be completed and published in 2017. This publication is derived from the 82nd Airborne Division Airborne Standard Operating Procedures (ASOP), Edition X. A copy of which can be obtained from - https://www.us.army.mil/suite/doc/46552544
You may want to address this question to LTC (Join to see) who is probably one of the best current SMEs on this type of question.

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA, now that I have reviewed your profile, it begs a question and an observation.
Do you not have a copy of the Division ASOP and attendant regulations, etc.? And if not, why not?
Secondly, if this is to settle a 'pissing contest', though you may be in the right, beware of who you are having the discussion/conflict with. I can tell you from personal experience that no matter how right and correct that you are, it can and will come back to bite you, and you will not be able to do a thing about it.
Good luck.

No, I have never been issued a copy, or even seen a copy.
I understand how things go when you try to "enforce compliance" with people who rank between you and the propagator of the regulation or policy letter. I'm just bewildered at the instructions I've been given. I asked for clarification on the policy, but did not receive an answer.

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA - Considering that you have computer access and internet access, isn't it about time for you to obtain the appropriate items through the Division Wiki, AKO, or some other avenue?
You have been in the 82nd and Ranger Regt. long enough to know that what is outlined in policies isn't necessarily followed until after the fecal matter hits the oscillating device.
What you are asking about will probably not change in the foreseeable future, it was like that in 1976 when I joined the Army, and it was like that when I retired 20 years later. It is now 22 years since I retired and it still has not changed. What you are asking about is what would be considered ideal, but rarely happens. In some cases you can assist in making a change for the better, but there are still other circumstances beyond almost anyone's control.
I know that you will find the answer, but it may not be the one that you are looking for. Good Luck.
