About
Loveland is situated 40 miles north of Denver. We are at the mouth of the Big Thompson River (a glorious drive west to Estes Park - 20 miles). This is truly God's country. Ft Collins is 6 miles north of us, Longmont 6 miles south.

Things to do here
Loveland has turned into an Art community. Lots of great Art shows happen throughout the summer (if you are into that). Lots of bike trails in the area. Hiking is also popular. The downtown area offers some fine dining and local breweries make some fine beer and spirits!

Things to avoid here
Driving at rush hour
Interstate 25
Other than that, great town. 2020 Census says we are just shy of population 80,000

Advice for those moving here
Save your money. Home prices have gone thru the roof the past 3 years (like most places).. Pick your school wisely. We have 3 traditional High Schools (Loveland, Thompson Valley, and Mountain View). Love the outdoors. We are close enough to many vacation destinations. Ski areas to the west (1-3 hour drive). We are 20 miles East of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
