About
Kansas City sits on the eastern edge of Kansas, at the border with Missouri. It’s home to the Kansas Speedway, which hosts NASCAR races and has a casino. Vast Wyandotte County Lake Park offers trails, a playground and boat rentals. At the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers, Kaw Point Park marks the site where the Lewis and Clark Expedition camped in 1804 and has views of the downtown skyline.
