You have to at least attend the JMU College Football Game since this a College Town, Shop at some of the downtown Harrisonburg shops, Try some brews at all the breweries we have in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County, Hit a couple of the Wineries, Have to go at least one or two times to the lavender farm (Fresh lavender) and other goodies made with lavender. Try a few of the restaurants we have in the area. You can have a beautiful drive for miles and miles or just hike on Skyline Drive going into the entrance of swift run gap, Walk in + out of all the antique shops we have. Head downtown to the Farmers Market. For everything else you may want to do your on your own, but, whatever you may decide to do just have fun and enjoy yourself and the great outdoors.

Advice for those moving here
Check out the housing and decide where in the Shenandoah Valley you would want to lay down your roots or just find a place to crash for a few years. Make sure you check out the local taxes, city, state, other taxes, like Rockingham County has the lowest property taxes around.
