31st Engineers also do non-OSUT basic, during summer surge for the split option Soldiers.

When I went there 42 years ago they did, it should be in a persons orders.

Yes. You will be in a unit that will be full of non-OSUT trainees. However, you won't be able to select your basic training location, it's all needs of the army. As a non OSUT trainee you could end up in any basic training location including Fort Benning. However, in my experience, Jackson, or Sill are most common, as they dont have any OSUT units.

Until several years ago, Sill was all male basic and Benning was until they dropped combat exclusion. When I came in, the coed ones were Jackson and Leonard Wood. I think that was it. Sill and Benning were all male back then.
