I just left Fort Hunter-Ligget. I had the honor to see the Change Of Command of 2 USAR training Brigades of the 84th Training Command. I have a new Brigade Commander.

This took place adjacent to the Hacienda Hotel at Fort HL. The Hotel looks like a Spanish Mission.

Mission San Antonio de Padua is 2 miles away. I visited the Mission a few years ago when training nearby Camp Roberts.

These pictures are from the rehearsal and during a break before the actual ceremony.

Wonderful. I believe I was one of the two Colonel’s who took over a Brigade that morning. You’re assigned to COL Padron’s 1st Bde, correct?

Yes, Sir, I'm in Colonel Padron's Brigade. I took these pictures just before we did the rehearsal and the pictures of the Hacienda were taken during a break we had and then just after the ceremony. We could not stick around because we had to take the buses back to Garden Grove.

Congratulations on your new Brigade Command, Sir!
I recall you being a graduate of Cal State University, Fullerton! I almost came after the ceremony to congratulate you, personally. Thank you for answering this post because now we have communicated!
