We still had Quonset huts during my tour in ‘85-‘86; they were building real buildings next to it though and when we got hit by the Munson rain and all our huts got submerged by the rain into a raging river we were moved a few weeks later into the new building which already smelled like mold heaven. Every time I went to Korea I got hit by the extreme’s of the rainy season; did three tours.
