What is best method for dealing with the VA regarding denied Gulf War benefits?

I have been denied twice regarding medical issues the VA currently treats me for. IBS, Sleep Apnea, Asthma,Fibromyalgia

I would contact a Service Rep Officer. The VVA, VFW, DAV, and American Legion will all be able to assist you in finding one.

SGT Ben Keen This seems to be the best answer. I agree and thank you for providing this guidance. GySgt John Gardner I have a great friend who is in much the same situation. Many illnesses are "presumptive" if you served in the Gulf. I have no idea why the VA is as complicated as they are about approving Gulf War claims. I am sorry the VA is not doing better by you.

You need a lawyer or the American Legion or VFW fighting for you. It took me many years before I smartened up and got representation.
