• Provided senior-level supervision for all aspects of workforce management, operations, planning, budgets, and training including conduct of monitor watches, audits, surveillances, and departmental assessments.
• Evaluated personnel performance, directed administrative functions, and supervised operations, maintenance, and training teams through complex engineering exercises.
• Directed the production efforts of both senior and junior technicians responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of electrical power generation, conversion, storage, and control equipment.
• Supervised 68 personnel in the safe operation of two pressurized-water nuclear reactors. Leadership led to high ratings on two consecutive annual power plant nuclear regulatory examinations.

Supervised maintenance and operations of all Reactor Electrical support and power generating equipment. Organized a 26-Sailor workforce to dramatically improve the material condition of the propulsion plant. Expertly managed a 1200-item maintenance schedule, on time, with 100% completion. Led the division through a 12-month dry-dock availability ensuring all testing and qualifications were achieved by target completion date.

•Led the ship through 2 annual maintenance inspections receiving overall grades exceeding 95%.
