Typical YouTube "drama title" and the exuberance of Stefan Burns is not everyone's cup of tea, plus his presentations become rambling. Even so at least the first few minutes usually inform us of the Sun's current activity and when it is expected to impact earth in what ways.

The sun has a tremendous impact on the Earth, its weather, our ability to communicate among other things.

It's not obvious in this particular video, but the young man is a geophysicist knowledgeable about the effects of solar flares and coronal mass ejections which effect the earth magnetically and create electric circuit also - that have some mount of physical effects too. Geophysicists like to speculate and theorize about the interplay of the effects of both on earthquakes and volcanos!
